Is there a forum for mentors, especially to chat with admins. I've asked for tasked to be published in #wikimedia-delrev with no reponse. One unpublished advanced task is designed to follow a participants completed task, so timely publishing is crucial to keep participants working happily with our org.

Usually I ping andre__ in #wikimedia-tech and that seems to work reasonably well (for my timezone at least).

The four admins can be pinged on IRC or emails, I'd say. You got a response in #wikimedia-devrel, it's just not immediate when admins are only in UTC-7 and UTC+2. :)

I am working with Nemo_bis and Nikerabbit to get some tasks published for marking many templates as translateable. I will start with 1 or 2 templates for the first task (after I finish this API module with tto).

Here is a sample task description (will change based on how many templates I do, similar to this set of tasks from last year. https://codein.withgoogle.com/archive/2015/organization/4822184463695872/task/4590410848534528/)

Title: Make Mediawiki Documentation (Templates) Translateable for the X time Description: For this task, you will be marking X templates for translation and importing their current translations.

You will be converting templates to use the new /i18n subpage so that they are translatable with MediaWiki's Translate extension, which greatly improves translation workflow hence making coverage of translated docs vastly broader. You will also be importing the current translations into the new respective i18n subpage. However, You must not add new translations yourself, that's forbidden by the rules.

Please read the following before getting started: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Autotranslate#Using_Extension:Translate https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Extension:Translate/Page_translation_administration#Anatomy_of_a_translatable_page

Please contact Nikerabbit on #wikimedia-i18n if you have any questions.

Thanks! If Nikerabbit (or anyone else) is fine with mentoring they are very welcome to create such tasks on the GCI site! We always welcome more tasks. :)
