Hello. On Portuguese Wikipedia, since the last update, all paragraphs of the articles translated have the warning "article without sources". This is annonying, because the articles do have sources! I contacted Programmers Cafe on this Wikipedia, but got no response, so I'm reporting here now.
Topic on Talk:Content translation
Please see Content translation/AbuseFilter We are fine tuning this validation, so you might start seeing this warning less.
@Santhosh.thottingal, Runab WMF: Looks like admins cannot help much because ContenTranslation does not generate AbuseFilter logs when it triggers one of the filters. This means admins do not have access to the variables which triggered the warnings so that they can verify the cause of false positives. I submitted this to phab:T134678.
Looks like it is ContentTranslation fault after all: if I read it right, CT submits the text of a single section to the filters as if it were the content of the whole page! Obviously, this will cause false positives with filters which check for things in the whole page (e.g.: are there references in the page? [not in a specific section]).
This must be what causes trouble for MisterSanderson.
Reported on phab:T134681.
Hm, so I should notify admin, and not programmers?
@MisterSanderson Hello, contacting the admins may be a good idea in this case. Inside Content Translation, the warnings shown for any Abusefilter triggers are directly coming from the actual filter. Hope this helps. Thanks.
The notification was closed by the admins, who said I should contact the programmers...
@MisterSanderson hmm. @Amire80 any clues about this? Thanks
Tragically, the best programmer I know (maybe the only?) could not understand what I was talking about, because he saw that there was nothing in my abuse filter log, so contacting the programmers is useless (what I already did before).
