Which weekly updates are you thinking about?
I think the user was talking about VisualEditor/changelog. If you're interested in the main weekly updates about VE, please check https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News, there are always a couple of lines about the product there.
@RYasmeen (WMF), it'd be great to start doing these again. :-)
