Hello @Wikiraguse sorry I don't know French, and used Google Translate to translate your comment. We have been trying to find the cause for this error since the last few days. Can you please tell me the language you were translating from, the language you were translating to and the article name? Also, can you try to publish a second time and see if the error is still happening. For some users, the error goes away if they try to publish again. Thank you and sorry for the trouble.

I'm having the same problem with this error with 3 diferent articles. I'm translating them from english to portuguese.
I already try to publish them in 3 diferent browsers (Chrome, IE and Firefox) but there is always the same problem.
Me too ... same problem ... I tried to publish 50 times and I still get the same error 503... I translated from English to French "Peștera cu Oase". I had a similare problem using the visual editor in Wikipedia. It seems that after the addition of a reference the problem randomly appears and the only way to solve the problem I found was resetting the article therefore cancel the changes and try again...
Hello @Margarida89 @Jean trans h+ My apologies for the trouble. We found one possible cause for this problem. The fix should be completed tonight and made available tomorrow onwards. But even then we want to track if any other reasons might be causing this, as the 503 error message does not indicate very clearly the underlying reason. We will be testing after the fix in this place, but please do let us know if you see it happening again tomorrow. Thanks.

The error persist in my case. Trying to publish translation of Ina Mihalache from french into catalan.
@Palmira K hmm, I can't seem to replicate this failure. We will check in the logs if we can find a clue. Sorry for the trouble.
