Hovercards doesn't work by districts of towns, it shows only some numbers (I think the coordinates), see for example at this pages (hover over e.g. "Arzheim"): https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landau_in_der_Pfalz#Lage_und_Stadtgliederung https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neustadt_an_der_Weinstraße#Stadtteile The problem exists both in Safari 8.02 and in Chrome 39.0.2171.95 on Mac OS X 10.10.1.

This seems to be a consistent problem for anything that uses de:Vorlage:Infobox Ortsteil einer Gemeinde in Deutschland. I'm not sure what is causing it?
Perhaps it is caused by the position of the geo-coordinates because they are the first thing on the page. See: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benutzer:Dav_Hir/Hovercardtest-Arzheim/Linktest I have deleted the coordinates by the first example -> the problem does no longer exist. Unfortunately, I have not any idea for the "ship-problem".
Hovercards doesn't work by some ships, too. It shows only "p1", e.g. on this page https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/München_(Begriffsklärung), you can reproduce this by hovering over "München (Schiff, 1961)" and "München (Schiff, 1972)". But I think Hovercards are a good tool for Wikipedia, because they help to understand articles.
Note: The "p1" seems to be a link within de:Vorlage:Infobox Schiff, that is shown when there is a missing image (it links to "../Wartung/BildFehlt" or "../Maintenance/Missing Image"). I'm not sure why it is appearing in the Hovercard though.
I had pointed months ago to the explanation here.
