Adding advertisements on Vector skin on MediaWiki 1.22

I want to bring here a problem for 1.22 release. Some wikis include an advertisement in the sidebar of Vector, in one of the sections, but since 1.22 there seems to be a lack of control about having a sidebar section permanently uncollapsed.

And also the lack of support for a google adsense extension that brings the first thread.

I wasn't paying attention for a while, but this seems like a regression. Could you file a bug? I've had success with the this extension and if maintenance is a problem there, file bugs and let me know about them -- I'll try to fix them.

I don't have this particular problem, I was just reporting what others said, so I'll let someone else that is willing to track this resolution to file the bug himself/herself.
