MediaWiki 1.18.3 PHP 5.2.17 (cgi) MySQL 5.0.91mm-log
Hi, I followed the directions for installing the Extension:Cite/Cite.php and my Special:Version Page shows it is installed. However, when I put up a simple biblio statement between ref brackets, and don't include a "references" tag, I get the following:
<cite_reference_link> <cite_error> ("Cite-error" in big red letters)
if I include < references /> after, I get this statement:
<cite_reference_link> <cite_references_prefix><cite_references_link_one><cite_references_suffix>
I was expecting to get a footnote. Do I need to add something to parser.php? Do I need to put some extra code in somewhere? If so, it is not at all clear at the MediaWiki page. This is really frustrating. Please help
