Toolserver:Apache testing

Toolserver has been replaced by Toolforge. As such, the instructions here may no longer work, but may still be of historical interest.

As of 2011-06-20, we are testing the Apache web server (httpd) to replace ZWS. The test server runs on http://wolfsbane.toolserver.org:81/~username/; please consider testing your tools here.

Generally, Apache should work the same as ZWS, but there are two important differences:

• rewrite.scripts do not work; instead, you need to use mod_rewrite directives in your .htaccess
• Before you can use PHP, you need to run install-php on wolfsbane, which will add the necessary configuration to your .htaccess.

• On July 16th 2011 Apache doesn't work. Was not working for around two weeks at least.
