YesYDone Suggestion now implemented.

(I like the visual editor, and think it was a step in the right direction.)

Two small "bugs" that may, or may not, have already been reported before: 1) while editing, red links appear blue in the visual move, even though they link to non-existent pages; 2) when editing boldface text, ''' ''' appear surrounding the newly added text, when that is perfectly unnecessary. (E.g. )

(Ah, and one quick question: at first, I thought VE's biggest flaw was its loading time (after one clicks "edit"), but recently it seems to have gotten better? [Or maybe it's just me, who's gotten used to it.] Thanks.)

On further reflection, you can just ignore the second "complaint"—what probably happened in that diff, was that the VE read that I was adding a dash without it being boldfaced. So, no problem there.

VisualEditor's speed has improved significantly, and today's status report from the devs suggests that another small boost may be in the works (but only for Chrome users, and only after the page has opened).

The redlink problem may be solved as early as this Thursday (here at MediaWiki.org; next Thursday at the Wikipedias). It's something that's been on the list for a long time.
