Is there a way to edit a page without other users being notified about it?
I tried to edit as a bot but other users still see the edit on their watchlists and get an email notification.

I only want to make a small change in my SMW attributes - other users shouldn't get tons of mails just because of this very small change.

edits like this should be marked as "minor" edits and then the user can decide whether or not to hide them.

Thanks Mark! I didn't notice this option before.
It works great: minor edits don't cause a mail being sent.
