This template takes a license code as input and returns its (translated) full name in human readable form. It is currently used by Шаблон:Розширення but could also be called from Шаблон:Скін or other templates if necessary since it doesn't do any categorization by itself.
Identifier codes and full names for common licenses should conform to the list at https://spdx.org/licenses/, whereas custom licenses should diverge enough from the SPDX standard to prevent any collisions. See the template source for working examples of both, as well as Module:Extension to see how both work in unison to feed Шаблон:Розширення with usable license data.
