Possible goal - Accessibility and usability cleanup[edit]

You asked for suggestions, so.. :-)

An ongoing/longterm/eternal battle is the forking and proliferation of documentation. It would be immensely useful if more people could help with Accessibility and usability cleanup. As I wrote at the top there, what we want to avoid is yet more pages being created, rather than the old pages being clarified and improved (and hopefully the quantity reduced, by merging information into single/central locations, where it can more easily be maintained and watchlisted). I'm completely with you here, we have the same (or even bigger) amount of different pages/locations for UI documentation all across. How could we make the progress visible for ourselves (probably adding Phabricator tasks with blocking subtasks)? It is horribly confusing to have 10.5 quite similarly labelled wiki articles on the same topics for an interested volunteer/a newcomer, even a long-term contributor. --VEckl (WMF) (talk) 22:56, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Locations to ask for input and feedback[edit]

Please add suggestions below. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 17:38, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Probably here

Possibly here

Table[edit]

Are you sure it's really necessary and accessible to split your sections into two columns? A subsection is probably more readable. Nemo 11:13, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Is there a directory/catalog of the subpages?[edit]

There's significant documentation hidden in the subpages: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex/Wikimedia_User_Interface/

Is there catalog for it somewhere that I can't find or it's up to me to make one? Please ping. —Aron Man.🍂 edits🌾 02:52, 19 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
