Interactive elements at English Wikipedia[edit]

I asked at WP:Village pump (miscellaneous): What are the current interactive elements that readers use in Wikipedia articles? (ie. excluding editing, and for all users (IP and logged-in)). Here's the compiled results:

Basic
  • Clicking text links
Images
Audio
Scrolling
  • Scrolling sideways for oversize data-tables and panorama images. E.g. w:Nuuk#Cityscape
Hover
Hidden elements
  • Clicking [Show] - to un-hide the collapsed elements in navigation-boxes (and occasionally elsewhere, E.g. w:Help:Collapsing tables)
Tables
Maps
Other
Logged-in users only
On Commons

(See also: Multimedia for details on planned changes/development work regarding image/gallery viewers)

I thought this might be helpful to place here. Feel free to add to the list, or move it elsewhere. Quiddity (talk) 20:13, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
