I'm working with mediawiki/services/kartotherian, using service-runner version 2.9.0. When I followed these directions and https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Maps/Services_deployment#Building_for_deployment, I found that ./server.js build --deploy-repo failed with an error about the deploy.dir git configuration. Running with the --verbose option, I see that the working directory is set to the deployment repo by the time `git config deploy.dir` is run, so I had to set the config in that project in order to successfully build. It seems that the git config settings in src/ are never used, in fact.
