Where does this Team collaborate? --Gryllida 11:35, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gryllida, this is an activity of the Engineering Community Team. We don't have a dedicated "location", and we frequently default to wikitech-l. Ideas welcome, as the current situation has room for improvement.--Qgil (talk) 13:19, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I might suggest #Wikimedia-tech connect, as that's where people go to ask for help with developing things for Wikimedia projects, and supporting them there could make sense. --Gryllida 22:48, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
To be quite honest I don't see why both #Wikimedia-tech connect and #Wikimedia-dev connect exist. The latter is mostly unused (Except for bots). Maybe it should be moved to #wikimedia-botspam connect (or some other) so that people gather in #Wikimedia-tech connect more. The latter is lacking helper resources, to my knowledge. Well, if we are including IRC then yes, although I didn't think of them as THE space for collaboration. We are indeed idling in #wikimedia-dev and also #mediawiki. #wikimedia-tech is not in my list of usual channels. About the confusion around channels, I agree, but it looks like a topic too good for bikeshedding for me to start it. :) On a related note, see Talk:MediaWiki_on_IRC#.23mediawiki_.2F_.23wikimedia-dev_.2F_.23wikimedia-tech.--Qgil (talk) 10:14, 21 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
