Time running out[edit]

Hi. I'm concerned that the time for this project is running out. In its present state, let's not lie to ourselves, it will just add to the backlog of our shelved past projects with code sitting in gerrit. Quim, I think this really must get out as a beta feature for at the very least one week (I originally said at least one month) so that it can receive actual feedback and work on the important things users care about. Otherwise, it will never reach active testing and we'll never even know at what level of completion we are. Can we do something about it? --Nemo 10:28, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Niharika, Pginer, Sucheta Ghoshal, do you have a plan to release this feature as beta feature? I agree with Nemo that the sooner the better. I also hope Niharika can and want to stay around to listen to feedback, fix bugs, etc, beyond her OPW internship.--Qgil (talk) 00:46, 1 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
It was supposed to be released as a beta feature by today. I will work on the new comments posted on the patch and hope to get this +1 again as soon as possible. And also, I will see this project through to the very end. So, rest assured it won't add to the backlog of shelved past projects in any case whatsoever. Thank you. --Niharika (talk) 01:15, 1 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
