ok vs. verified[edit]

Does "ok" indicate that more thorough testing has been done than would be the case for "verified"? Or does it indicate a value judgment has been made that the revision is in fact beneficial, in addition to being code that runs and fulfills the purpose stated by the committer? AFAIK ok means that it looks ok, while verified means that it's actually been tested. --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 17:33, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
