Is the source code still available somewhere? Thanks, Tisane 00:44, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

I was wondering the same. Asking on IRC... --Diego Grez ¡hablemos! 19:36, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
There are rumors that it's on the Toolserver somewhere, and it used to be at http://amidaniel.com/viewvc/trunk/MWBot/?root=svn . I've just emailed OverlordQ to ask whether OverlordQ has it. There was also discussion at:

" http://toolserver.org/~mwbot/mwbot.tar.gz this is the code, dunno if it is indeed decompiled or not tho"

It is currently run from the Toolserver, but there is no svn checkout that I can see. And the repo it has from ts is also unused: https://svn.toolserver.org/svnroot/p_mwbot/ Krinkle (talk) 23:19, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Alive and well?[edit]

Poor bot. So young! #mediawiki /lastwas mwbot -> There was no such nickname. I could not find chatter on the mailing list, are we deprecating mwbot or was this an accident? Adamw (talk) 00:38, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

MWBot pasted away in its sleep, Although there was attempts to recus, It didn't work. It has now been superseded by WMBot. Peachey88 (talk) 02:28, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
