Have you compared the page views for the Main Page against the registration numbers, to see whether the decline in account creation mirrors the lower use of the Main Page on mobile? The last time I checked the numbers, the English Wikipedia got nearly half its total page views on mobile, but the Main Page sees only about 16% of its page views from mobile. Do you think that explains the difference in the numbers?
