Metric Comment[edit]

Daily surviving pages created: New pages in main namespace not deleted within 48 hours (not long enough for AfD or prod on en.wiki)?

48 hours definitely isn't enough. Ten days is an absolute minimum for many workflows to kick in, more like three weeks or a month if you want to capture a high percentage "immediate" page rejections. And that's assuming NewPagePatrol isn't backlogged (which it usually is). Alsee (talk) 06:47, 5 November 2015 (UTC) P.S. I haven't worked with file uploads, but 48 hours won't work for Surviving Uploads either. Alsee (talk) 07:02, 5 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

New editor retention rate[edit]

@Neil P. Quinn-WMF: The "New editor retention rate" is one of the core metrics reported monthly at Wikimedia Audiences#Contributors (and in the spreadsheet). But it is not documented here.. Maybe it is the percentage of last month's new registrations that became surviving new editors this month? Regards, Tbayer (WMF) (talk) 01:35, 23 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
