Discussion sections[edit]

What's the purpose of the "Discussion" subsections vs. the "Investigation" reports? They seem overlapping. --Nemo 12:25, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Nemo: Yes, they are overlapping on purpose. The investigation reports will be more detailed, more technical, and largely managed by the Community Tech developers. The discussion sections are intended for reporting things back to the community from the investigations (and later, the priority evaluations) and getting feedback from community members that are not on Phabricator. Yes, it is somewhat redundant, but we want to make sure that our work is transparent and visible to the community, which means putting stuff on-wiki instead of just in Phabricator.
