admin docs should not randomly be on mediawiki.org

Technical documentation and docs for service admins are hosted on Wikitech wiki. Once again could not find it because for reasons I don't understand this is on mediawiki.org - this isn't about MediaWiki. Mutante (talk) 20:17, 17 November 2025 (UTC)

Codesearch was a volunteer created project. https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Codesearch points here as the place to find details on the project. The split of docs between mw.o and wikitech that you are referencing is generally about WMF managed technical projects, so I guess if the WMF is now managing the service you can make runbooks anywhere you'd like. I just added a redirect page on wikitech that hopefully will improve discoverability of the existing docs there. -- BDavis (WMF) (talk) 21:28, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
