This is an anti-captcha: annoying for humans (for the example shown on the mocks, solving the puzzle will be a very frustrating experience for someone who does not recognize the logo) but trivial for bots (just need to check which edges match). --Tgr (WMF) (talk) 01:29, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

There seem to be others who use puzzle captchas [1], so spambots could already be trained to solve them, in which case this proposal wouldn't work even in small wikis (unlike QuestyCaptcha). --Nemo 08:32, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
