Season of Docs

Google Season of Docs (GSoD) was a program that provided grants to technical writers to work on documentation for open-source software projects. Google discontinued Season of Docs in 2025.[1]
In 2019 and 2020, the WMF's participation was overseen by the (now defunct) Developer Advocacy team. The 2024 program was managed by the Technical Documentation Team.
