Thank you @SCP-2000 for pointing this out. I believe it has been fixed, but let me know if I overlooked anything. Thank you! Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 15:22, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@GVarnum-WMF: Hello, thank you for fixing the issue. I re-checked the page and found there are another parts that are not compatible with the dark mode (See screenshots: https://ibb.co/9HjVysFT, https://ibb.co/fzXcHZ4f, https://ibb.co/6JJZMFy6, https://ibb.co/ZRF53tbH).
BTW in the Terms of Use page, there are a few parts that also have the similar issues (See screenshots: https://ibb.co/1xGLXJr, https://ibb.co/BKrCJ3YK). Could you please also take a look? SCP-2000 (talk) 16:18, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Updated the links to screenshots, fyi. SCP-2000 (talk) 16:13, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, SCP-2000. These should all be fixed now, at both pages. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 23:29, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Quiddity (WMF): It look great. Thank you for your help! SCP-2000 (talk) 02:18, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Issue Description

Can't see any obvious problem except for the ubiquitous broken navbox, marking as fixed. --Tactica (talk) 17:24, 25 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Colours are not being reversed, so text remains dark (primarily black #000000 and 20% grey #333333) on the dark background (--background-color-neutral-subtle, #202122) and illegible. This is also the case for some images — especially the Wikipedia wordmark and descriptor.

The only text that is clearly legible is the h2 headings (which only consist of numerals) and hyperlinks (which display in --color-progressive, #88a3e8) — OwenBlacker | Discussion 12:33, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this bug-report, and my apologies for the delayed response. The text colors have been fixed, and the most problematic images have now been replaced with versions that use a built-in white-background. The Brand team is looking into improving other aspects of the page, too. Cheers, Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 17:07, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
