From mediawiki.org

User: Dmehus[edit]

Requested user-rights: Autopatrolled.

I am occasionally active here, mainly with updating, adding to, or creating extension documentation pages, namely as part of my my roles with Miraheze, a community-run, ad free wiki farm and developer of several extensions. Additionally, I fully understand the purpose and scope of MediaWiki.org. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 23:42, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol doesn't really help you, but rather other editors patrolling recent changes, and its helpful for active editors, but since creating this request was your third edit since August 2020, I'm not really sure it would be helpful. No objections if another admin wants to grant, but I wanted to bring this up --DannyS712 (talk) 02:59, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed with DannyS712. Personally I cannot ever imagine a situation in which I would grant an explicit request for autopatrolled (other than to bypass an abuse filter that checks for autopatrolled rights); it makes more sense for the right to be granted sua sponte by admins doing recent changes patrol than to be formally requested. * Pppery * it has begun 04:40, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, N Not done. Majavah (talk!) 12:54, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
