Hi. I'm a global sysop who has taken some sysop actions before, but I plan on becoming more active here and would like local sysop to be able to access the additional one or two rights not included in the global sysop package. (since I forgot to say this) I'll be active in countervandalism, as well as general maintenance as required (handling speedy deletion tags, deleting broken redirects, etc). I'd also like to make an abuse filter to try and stop some of the more common spam, but I don't really feel comfortable doing that as a global sysop.
