The MultiMail extension adds support for multiple email addresses.

Installation

• Download and move the extracted MultiMail folder to your extensions/ directory.
  Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/MultiMail
• Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:

  wfLoadExtension( 'MultiMail' );
  

• Run the update script which will automatically create the necessary database tables that this extension needs.
•  Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.

User rights

• multimail - Permits access to the special page. It is granted to everyone by default, but the special page requires that any user that uses it is logged-in, similar to Special:Preferences.

$wgVirtualDomainsMapping

MediaWiki version:

≥ 1.41

MultiMail supports $wgVirtualDomainsMapping . It can be configured using the key virtual-multimail. If you use $wgSharedTables , you do not need to configure $wgVirtualDomainsMapping .

Configuration parameters

• $wgMultiMailDB (removed in 1.41) - This is the name of the database where the user_secondary_email table will be stored. If you use $wgSharedTables , this can be left at its default value.
