Arthur started to research what it would take to default all of our other projets to their mobile interfaces

Arthur came up with proposed timeline and steps for moving forward

Arthur filed the relevant RT tickets and Max quickly made the core changes for implementing redirection. Phil started researching best ways of reaching out to the projects that we'll be migration

Arthur Richards defined the specifications for the move of Wikipedia's sister projects to the default redirect to the mobile site for mobile devices. We now have a schedule posted and have started to reach out to our various communities to let them know of the change.

Phil reached to our first three launch communities - Wiktionary, Wikinews, & Wikisource. Were finalizing all the moving parts and should move our first batch on 21 June, 2012

First batch has been moved over. Second batch is being staged now.

Phil, Patrick, Max, and Asher worked together to prep the sibling projects to become mobile default. Phil used the global messaging to notify all affected village pumps about the change. Patrick, Max, and Asher refined our squid mobile redirector to allow for new projects and enabled it for Wiktionary, Wikinews, and Wikisource. All three of these projects default to mobile now if we detect a mobile phone. We've scheduled our next set of projects on the project timeline.

Second batch of Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wikiversity have now been migrate. Third batch is being prepped.

Automatic mobile redirection for * sites hosted on the cluster (except for commons) enabled.

Patrick and Arthur added three new projects and one new domain to be mobile default. Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wikiversity, and * are now equipped to better serve our mobile users. The development team is eager to hear back from our community about what they would like to see from their projects on mobile. Our last project to migrate will be commons after which we'll close this project.
