Use "plainlinks"[edit]

Could the link please be formatted as to prevent having the external link arrow in the sidebar? I find it annoying, and others may too. An example may be <span class="plainlinks">http://techblog.wikimedia.org/</span> (will show like http://techblog.wikimedia.org/).  Hazard-SJ  ±  03:15, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

How is it annoying? It's marking that it's a external url which it is. I fixed a broken a css modification so that the external urls (There are three under the development section) in the sidebar did get the indication because thats what they really are. Peachey88 05:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well, I keep my unused sidebar sections collapsed, and didn't notice those in the development section. However, I am just not used to seeing the external link icon in the sidebar. Maybe I'll get used to it overtime.  Hazard-SJ  ±  05:56, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
