Change on my wiki

Is there any way to change this message, either via LocalSettings or an extension? The language file itself will just get overwritten at next update, so I don't want to make the change there.

Change the wording from "The reason given is $2" to "$7, You were blocked by $1 for this reason: $2". Also remove a blocked text wording from "Your current IP address is $3, and the block ID is #$5", and add "* Block ID: #$5" and "* Current IP address: $3".

The result:

Suggestion

Why don't we use Module:IPAddress to switch between "IP address" or "account" depending on whether the targeted user is either logged on/off? 2600 etc (talk) 21:28, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
