The MediaWiki Users and Developers Conference , Spring 2027 will be held sometime between March and May 2027 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The MediaWiki Users and Developers Conference (MUDCon) features discussions of topics related to the usage of MediaWiki software by and within companies, non-profits, governments, organizations, and communities.

The closest airport is Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG), which offers flights to select airports in Canada and the United States. The airport conveniently offers a U.S. CBP Preclearance facility, allowing U.S.-bound passengers to complete customs and immigration controls in Winnipeg prior to departure and enjoy domestic arrivals/connections procedures upon landing in the United States.

Scholarships

The MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group will offer scholarships for both in-person attendance and mobile data (for qualifying circumstances). Depending on availability of funds and merit of the applicants, scholarships will be awarded to a certain number of applicants. In-person scholarships cover the cost of a conference ticket. Mobile data scholarships cover the reasonable costs of paying for mobile data to watch the conference. Scholarships must be applied for. Applications will be reviewed by the MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group's scholarships committee, which is appointed by the MWStake Board of Directors.

Visa assistance
