Wait, it isn't so actual[edit]
Using of skinname, php is deprecated, therefore the article should be changed fundamentally. Ядерный Трамвай (talk) 22:28, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm, true, it's outdated. It's not a "fundamental" change, though, just a pretty mechanical translation of the PHP structures to JSON. Matma Rex (talk) 00:35, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- You are right. I mean not a fundamental change for the extensions' mechanism, but for this article, because this is written pretty "user-friendly", especially. Ядерный Трамвай (talk) 19:58, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Source does not resemble the text[edit]
The source code that is linked to does not resemble the text on the page, e.g. there is no php. Is the source code that is mentioned in the text available somewhere? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Monotropan (talk • contribs) 04:48, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Monotropan: Looks like the Example skin was rewritten recently (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/skins/Example/+/3ef4c54036a44e61208c214fdb2e764835b43737). Try having a look at an older version: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/skins/Example/+/refs/heads/REL1_35 (or maybe even older versions).
