Disable all licensemessages?

[edit]

I am running a private wiki on my company's intranet. As we don't have policies for what images to upload I would like to disable the license altogether.

Is this possible? Or will it be a feature in the future? I'm thinking of something as simple as 'licensemessages' => false

Thank you!

No, it's not possible. The licensing options in this dialog aren't very configurable :( Matma Rex (talk) 16:25, 30 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
I have the same problem. I hope this is fixed in the future. Magol (talk) 21:59, 25 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello,
We are facing the same issue.
How complex is it to implement this feature?

Visual Editor - passing both Description and Category

[edit]

I'm using Visual Editor with $wgUploadDialog setup. I have all the Fields enabled and can enter data, but I am only able to pass one of the values to the file page.

Setting 'filepage' => '$DESCRIPTION', passes the Description

Setting filepage' => '$CATEGORIES', passes the Category

Problem is that I am unable to pass more than one of these. I have to choose one. Perhaps I'm not setting the $wgUploadDialog value in LocalSettings.php properly. I've tried various settings. Any suggestions as to passing more than 1 of the above values to the filepage would be appreciated. Thanks. 205.254.147.8 (talk) 20:41, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I figured this out. 205.254.147.8 (talk) 20:07, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Choose License

[edit]

The normal upload function offers to choose a license. It would be cool to have something like that here too. Kaffeeringe (talk) 00:04, 30 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
