IE7 Login Error

No mater what i do to the variables i keep getting this error: Login error:www.mediawiki.org uses cookies to log in users. You have cookies disabled. Please enable them and try again.

I am using version 1.12.0. It may be also helpful to note that for some reason ie7 does not appear to be using css.

• I'd be ok with not using ie7 but i can't get firefox to open local file links.

The url used to get to the wiki is on the internal intranet and looks like this: http://server which redirects to look like http://server/index.php?title=Special:Userlogin does not having a .com have an effect. Any help please!!!

Solved

Found this out today! The problem was not enough security rights were given to the PHP\sessiondata and PHP\uploadtemp folders. I guess this is where it stores all cookie information. These folders were created during the php install as per Installing_MediaWiki_on_Windows_Server_2003 page.
