Office hours

The Starter Kit team plans to conduct occasional virtual office hours, inviting community members to participate, get oriented to using the Starter Kit, and share their challenges and feedback on improving it.

As the pilot rolls out in August 2026, the team plans to host a series of office hours across across different timezones to reach as many participants as possible. You can sign up for the one that most suits your timezone below. You will receive a reminder on your talk page, or by your preferred method of communication, a few days before the meeting.

Let's understand together how the Starter Kit works, and brainstorm how to onboard others in your community to using it and how it can be made more useful for new and small language Wikipedias getting started on their development journeys.

What to expect

Each session runs for about an hour and is informal. No preparation is needed, and you are welcome to join even if you have not tried the Starter Kit yet.

• Time for your questions, challenges and feedback
• A discussion on onboarding others in your community

All three sessions cover the same material, so you only need to attend one. Note that for the second and third sessions, the UTC time falls on the following day.
