With Pe̍h-ōe-jī IME, you could type Pe̍h-ōe-jī more easily.
To enable it, do the following:
- Click the search box at the top of the page.
- Click the little keyboard icon that appears near the search box.
- If "閩南語 / Bân-lâm-gú" or "Bân-lâm-gú (Pe̍h-ōe-jī)" appears at the top of the list, select "閩南語白話字IME / Bân-lâm-gú Pe̍h-ōe-jī IME".
- If "閩南語 / Bân-lâm-gú" or "Bân-lâm-gú (Pe̍h-ōe-jī)" doesn't appear at the top of the list, do the following:
- Click "..." at the bottom of the list. A panel will appear.
- Find "閩南語 / Bân-lâm-gú" or "Bân-lâm-gú (Pe̍h-ōe-jī)" in the panel. Click it.
- Click the little keyboard icon again, and select "閩南語白話字IME / Bân-lâm-gú Pe̍h-ōe-jī IME".
To disable this special IME and go back to type usually, click the little keyboard icon and then click "Use native keyboard", or press Ctrl+M.
To re-enable the Hokkien Pe̍h-ōe-jī IME, repeat the steps listed above.
