how would I add a button that allows a user to edit which ever current page they are on?

Hi.. I have put this extension on my Mediawiki site and also edited the page Mediawiki:Topbar. But nothing is coming up. Neither am I getting any error. Can someone point out the possible reasons?

It would be useful to have an example in the form of a link or image. Also, does MediaWiki:Topbar use wiki syntax, or something similar to MediaWiki:Sidebar?
