Jquery that invokes server's api and render result on the screen?
[edit]Hello,
I am trying to write an extension using Jquery for both view and edit (end to end). I don't see it in this excellent resource while code from real extension is too complicated for beginner. If someone can gimme hints to do that, I am willing to incorporate it into this example-ext.

Upgrade to 1.25?
[edit]This example is quite misleading as it's using the <1.24 way of doing things. Can we get an updated starting point? 2601:1C2:102:5A41:C9B6:8FEB:446A:2049 (talk) 23:14, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
Remove in favor of cookiecutter-mediawiki-extension
[edit]I would opt for removing this extension in favor of the extension generator project at Extension:Cookiecutter-mediawiki-extension
Much more straightforward and time-saving.
Shameless plug: I'm the author of cookiecutter-mediawiki-extension JonasGroger (talk) 17:23, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
Rename this page to 'Examples'?
[edit]The extension is called 'examples' in ones extension directory. Are extension page names here meant to match what they use for installation? The plural also seems to capture more of the nature of the extension, which actually contains multiple separate extensions. Sam Wilson 02:11, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
Unclear What This Is
[edit]If this is just some sample extensions, why do i need to "install" it? Johnywhy (talk) 08:27, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
