- Are you a developer? If not, note that this is not something consumable by end users. The page implies this in the opening paragraph. If you are a dev, can you point out what info is missing, or what is unclear? Jeroen De Dauw (talk) 20:52, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
Question: is this extension responsible for "Special:Diff" ?
[edit]if so, there are a few missing things:
- special:diff does not show in special:SpecialPages, which means it's "hidden"
- i could not find any documentation for Special:Diff. e.g., i managed to figure out that you use rev number with slash ("Special:Diff/<rev#> ), but i still do not know how to pass "oldid" when trying to diff multiple edits
- could not find the appropriate string to translate in translatewiki: for other special pages, we have translations, e.g., "Special:Contributions" in hewiki can be accessed through "מיוחד:תרומות". Special:Diff as no translation ATM, and i can't igure out where to translate it.
even if Sepcial:Diff has nothing to do with this extension, i'd still appreciate answers...

- No. The MediaWiki core is responsible for Special:Diff. Shirayuki (talk) 23:36, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
- I believe that this special page is only meant for providing inline diffing of versions.
- The only documentation I could find is at this spot. Yeah, a little extra page on this will be great.
- On translatewiki.net the special pages name will have to be translated via betawiki:Special:AdvancedTranslate [[kgh]] (talk) 09:20, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- I have just created Help:Diff which probably needs more love. However, it contains all the essential information on this new special page. [[kgh]] (talk) 23:27, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
