it seems like the offset stuff is wonky, I get a first page of results and the script just ends,, the next link is greyed out and it never goes beyod the first batch of compares.

I was able to figure out the issue.. im using a 1.32 version clonediff extension, and my remote wiki is v1.21. I made extensive edits to the SpecialConediff.php file to accomodate the differing api syntax and have it working well. I could post that here is anyone needs it.
