Reverts to default on search[edit]

Hi! I'm using MediaWiki 1.15.3 but I can only get this extension to work with the skins called 'standard' and 'nostalgia'. On all other skins* it reverts back to the default skin whenever you use the search function (i.e. type something in the search box and hit enter, or press 'Go' or 'Search'). It works as long as you are clicking on links, then the '?=useskin' argument persist, but when you use search the argument disappears from the url. Any ideas why?

*for example monobook, modern, simple and cologneblue

Could you tell me which skins you tested this extension with? Pure and Glass? Could you tell which skins those skins are based on?
