When click on pages , the link redirect with hard coded 'mediawiki' in it, which means if the website not named as mediawiki will fail immediately.

Please provide more details on this, where exactly are you seeing this?
- As WikiSysop I was unable to change the ownership of a page created by another user.
Modify link was not present in Special:ArticleProtection/<Pagename>.
Also was unable to make the changes by directly going to Special:ArticleProtection/Settings:<Pagename>.
- Additionally, it would be more productive if literally all the pages that get created after the installation of this extension, do not automatically get protected through this method. Through the present method the owner has to give edit permissions, to all the users of the Wiki, for pages that he/she wants to keep publicly editable.

No, sorry. I gave up on the extension soon after my previous comment. The comment was mainly to notify the extension creators of the issue.
