Hi, how can I see the AMP page? Usually we add "/amp" on the end of the URL. 179.218.128.197 (talk) 14:57, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

You can click view source on your browser and there you will find the URL for the amp page. Nischayn22 (talk) 07:46, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Different pages

[edit]

Hey! Thanks for the last answer.

I want, in the same page, to have web and amp version. Is that possible? Because I have table setup on that page. And I want to make a Amp version with <li> intead of table. :-)

Thanks! 179.218.128.197 (talk) 10:32, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, That's currently not possible with this extension. But can be accomplished with some work on it. You can either submit a patch or sponsor for the work.
Hope that helps! Nischayn22 (talk) 05:43, 30 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Some ideas

[edit]

This extension is interesting. However, looks a bit hacky.

  • I'd like to have something like action=amphtml on the same URL to get the AMP page dynamically, instead of a static file being generated on the server.
  • This would allow any page to be rendered as AMP, not only those with the <amp/> tag.
  • Maybe this could be done implementing a new parser (or similar, although it sounds a bit insane :) ), and save the parsed content in cache. It may improve cacheability and automatic purge when the page is purged (because of template or image change, etc).
  • Think of a way for other extensions to hook and add their own amp markup for their own tags. Ciencia Al Poder (talk) 14:20, 15 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the extension is definitely a hack currently - I always create new extensions as an MVP and then improve on them as and when needed. Your ideas are good and any contribution is welcome :) Nischayn22 (talk) 06:31, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Is it possible to get this extension convert skin Minerva?

[edit]

Hi,

This is extension is an interesting implement of AMP. Is it possible to change the convert method from amp/ tag to whole site?

Therefore site admin can set up amp.example.com for all amp contents.

Anyone want to do that? Deletedaccount4567435 (talk) 10:22, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, all this would need customization in this extension and is possible. If you are looking for consultancy you can contact me at nischayn22@gmail.com Nischayn22 (talk) 13:00, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
