This extension needs help with internationalization; English is the only language for text at this time. Chanur 19:17, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would like to help with internationalization. Maybe you could move it to mediawiki SVN repository and use translatewiki.net for translating. Another wish would be to make a parser-function out of this tag-function. --DaSch 16:35, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
I will look into that. I have not written a parser-function before or used the MediaWiki SVN. It is all new to me. But, as I said, I will look into it and update the extension. Thanks Chanur 00:31, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
How are optional arguments handled or even identified in a parser function? With a tag, I can create attribute names to parse; the examples in Manual:Parser_functions are positional so the user must enter the arguments in a specific order. Not sure I see an advantage. The advantage is that you can use it within a template and inculde the template arguments. --DaSch 12:00, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
I did not forget this. I created a new parser version as Extension:AgeParse. Working on getting SVN access. Let me know if this works better for you. Not sure what is involved in translatewiki.net. --Chanur 18:44, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

BC[edit]

How do I make this extension work with dates bc (eg 76 BC)?

I didn't see this question until now. The extension does not currently provide a way to do BC/BCE dates. It does not really transition from Gregorian to Julian calendar either so dates before October 1582. Need to think about both... Chanur 16:46, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Code change OK?[edit]

I see the code has been changed by an anonymous user. Is this change OK? --Robinson Weijman 12:38, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can you create files to download?[edit]

Not being familiar with php, I copied pasted the whole thing and included two source files as one. Had a devil of a time trying to work out the php errors after that. 118.209.133.131 09:51, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
