The TimeMachine extension allows you to browse a wiki just how it was in a given date in the past. By going to Special:TimeMachine, you can set a date and from then on whenever you visit a page, you will see the first revision previous to that date. By visiting Special:TimeMachine again, or emptying your cookies, you can return to browsing the wiki as always.

  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called TimeMachine in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php:
    require_once "$IP/extensions/TimeMachine/TimeMachine.php";
  • YesY Done - Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
