The LightGallery extension displays thumbnailed images in modal window that floats overtop of web page. This can create a more user friendly environment, where the user doesn't leave the page every time they click a thumbnail.
Installation
[edit]- Download and place the file(s) in a directory called
LightGalleryin yourextensions/folder. - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
require_once "$IP/extensions/LightGallery/LightGallery.php";
Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
Configuration
[edit]You can set LightGallery options by setting a $lgLightGalleryOptions variable in LocalSettings.php after including the extension in LocalSettings.php.

Usage
[edit]To initialize the gallery, use the class .LightGallery on your <gallery>.
