AboutBlueSpice offers a special information page, which is delivered with every edition of a BlueSpice MediaWiki distribution. This extension provides users with additional information that cannot be edited from the frontend. It was developed for marketing reasons, so that people can be directed to a predefined page to learn more about the distribution.

Usage / features

The content is delivered as page Special:AboutBlueSpice.

Installation

Add the repo url (https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-BlueSpiceAbout

.git) as a "vcs repository" and the package name (mediawiki/BlueSpiceAbout) and version to the require section of your composer.local.json. Example:

Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:

Done Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
