The WMCS team has done a great job at documenting team norms that make sense to us. Instead of copying them, we refer to them. We add a few things that are specific to Data Platform SRE.

We are root on all our servers. We have powers. With powers comes responsibility. Our responsibility is to serve our customer teams.
Feel free to mention team members on IRC or Slack at any time of the day or night. Everyone is responsible to silence notifications on the receiving end.
We all work remotely, with different timezone and weird office hours. Being able to run errands during the day is one of the perks of work from home. We let our team member know when we are available by keeping our Google calendar up to date and blocking time on our calendar for when we are regularly unavailable. We notify people in our Slack channel if we need to leave our office for a significant amount of time.
