What is the difference between this page and Category:Parser extensions? --HappyDog 01:10, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

A parser function has tags {{ : }}, other parser extensions have tags < > </ >. Perhaps we need a separate name for the latter, such as XML-type extensions?--Patrick 08:00, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK. Whilst these cat names are technically correct they are a bit confusing. Then again, having an extension called ParserFunctions is even more confusing. Ah well. I guess leave it as it is for now. --HappyDog 03:08, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yea, especially when Extending wiki markup refers to "parser extensions" as "tag extensions"... —Eep² 05:30, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
... additionally, the long list of parser functions would be better suited to a dedicated page that is put in this category, rather than as part of the category description. --HappyDog 01:47, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
I moved the table to Extension:parser function extensions.--Patrick 08:15, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pages in category order[edit]

In the Pages in category "Parser function extensions" section, how is it that Extension:Parser function extensions gets listed first, out of order, before the "A" titles?
